You know those graphics found in old Nintendo and Sega games? I’ve been experimenting, studying, and following tutorials on the style of graphics found in those games, pixel art. I feel as if I have no real artistic talent, but when I’m presented with a limited pallete and I’m working in dots (pixels), I can put together something decent.
I made a tree, two grass tiles, and one flower tile. I had a terrible time picking out the colors myself and picked the colors from Secret of Mana 2’s palette.
And for what it all looks like together.
For my games, I’ve always ripped graphics from other games and have done edits of preexisting graphics. This is the first time I’ve put together anything from scratch. Really happy with how it came out.
